Only the Beginning

Well, here I make my official attempts at blogging! I'm pretty sure it's frowned upon in Utah if you are married and not blogging. Duty calls! (:
As you probably know, I was recently married to my best friend, the love of my life, Stefan Ericksen.  It's actually almost been a month now and I certainly cannot believe it! Time flies when you are having fun!  I have absolutely loved being married.  It definitely has it's challenges, but I wouldn't change those challenging times for anything.  We've grown so much not only individually, but also as a couple during these last 3 weeks.  It's a learning and growth process and I love that I have my best friend to go through it all with.  Nobody said it was going to be easy, but it's always been worth it.

It's amazing to me to see how our love for each other has grown.  When I got married, I didn't know how I could love Stefan any more than I did that day.  Yet here I am today, saying the same thing and I am sure my love for him has at least doubled.  I feel so amazingly blessed to have found such a perfect man.  He is my prince to say the least.  He takes care of me, and always makes sure that I feel special.  I have never felt so loved by anybody.  I truly feel like a princess.  Every girl deserves this fairy-tale feeling.
After our wedding, we took a DREAM vacation to Treasure Island, Florida, by the grace of our good friends and family! Thanks all that made our honeymoon possible. (:  It was a week of perfection.  Perfect weather, house on the beach, dolphin watching, catching rays, and falling more in love every day.  The down fall was that we did forget a camera.. so all of our pictures were captured on disposable cameras.  A memory that will last a lifetime.. We went to some fancy dinners.. and some not-so fancy ones.  We enjoyed the public transportation and the interesting souls you meet on the Sun-Coast Trolley.  We took a day trip to a historic island where we enjoyed snorkeling, dolphin watching, and hours of exploring.  Stefan and I were harassed by monster tortoises. They tried to steal our lunch and eat my towel. Little rascals.
This was our backyard.. you better believe it!
Waiting for a trolley.
On our day trip to Honeymoon Island
We were blessed this whole trip to enjoy the luxuries that we did and each others company.  The Lord really had his hand in also.  He took care of us in more ways than we can count.  We are so blessed to have the gospel, and I feel overwhelmed when I think about and appreciate his tender mercies.  The blessings of a temple marriage are greater than I can express.  Let's just say I have become an extremely emotional girl since being married, but I can't help but feel the spirit in my life and count my many blessings daily.
Thanks to everyone who helped make our special day the best one ever.  We couldn't have been happier with how the brunch, ceremony, and reception turned out.  I feel guilty for not personally thanking each and every one of you that made it the amazing celebration that it turned out to be.  It was beautiful. Period. Thank you all.  But most importantly thank you Stefan, for being the amazing man you are, whom I look up to every day.  Thanks for making me the happiest girl in the world.  I love you with all my heart.
